Sourdough and Silliness
Things are going going going going. Which is fun most of the time, but as of late has left me without much time to really think about and process what is going going going on in life. I tried explaining this scenario to my friend and roommate last night. How I put it was something like this: "I have so many thoughts going on in my brain at once and I haven't sat down and allowed myself to think them all, which leaves me not having any clue what it is that I am in fact thinking." These circular thoughts themselves are enough to leave one temporarily brain-dead. Luckily, my roommate was gracious and just brain-dead enough herself to understand. This is partially due to the fact that I had convinced her the night before at 10:30pm to bake Sourdough bread with me--one of those memorable nights where everything was hilarious for absolutely no reason. Good times...

Sounds like you have one cool roommate!
Wow, I don't know if I've ever heard your roommate described as gracious... oh wait, you must mean the other Emily, right?
I hope the retreat was refreshing and gave you a chance to stop. And I'm glad you enjoyed late night silliness! Crazy/fun stuff like that always makes the best memories.
